Thoughtfully designed for the airport environment, the cabins offer travellers a private space to rest, recharge and enjoy a range of amenities before departure
MALAYSIA. Technology-driven rest solutions provider Kepler Club has unveiled its expanded facility at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, more than doubling its bed capacity and introducing a double-deck cabin design with private entry for every guest.
The opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by high-profile guests, including Ambassador of Türkiye to Malaysia Nevzat Uyanık; Malaysia Airports Managing Director Dato’ Mohd Izani Ghani; and Kepler Club Founder & CEO Ömer Alaettinoğlu, alongside invited guests and members of the media.
The expansion brings Kepler Club’s total bed count to 148, up from 64.
Designed to combine hotel room comfort with the space efficiency required in an airport setting, the updated concept features double-deck cabins with individual private entrances, described as a first within an airport terminal.
Each DoubleKep cabin is equipped with enhanced sound insulation and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing guests to connect to the cabin’s sound system and listen to their preferred Spotify playlists in privacy.
Open 24 hours a day, the facility offers hourly bookings and a range of amenities, including private smart sleeping cabins, a lounge and workspace, showers, smart toilets, lockers, high-speed wifi and unlimited refreshments.
Guests can check in and out through self-service kiosks, while the Kepler app provides direct cabin access without the need for room keys, plastic key cards or a stop at reception. A 24-hour reception team is also available for guests who prefer personal assistance.
Kepler Club has quickly gained popularity since launching at Kuala Lumpur Airport in 2024. Its airside location ranks first among 182 hotels around the airport on Booking.com, with a 9.2 rating, while its landside property scores 9.1 from more than 2,100 combined reviews.
The experience is further enhanced by Kepler’s membership platform, launched in 2025, which offers personalised mood settings.
Guests can select Rainforest, Desert, Ocean, Mountain or Fire, with each setting adjusting the cabin’s lighting and soundscape throughout their stay and gently waking them in the same ambience before checkout.
Additional sensory features are set to be rolled out in phases.
Bringing a local creative element to the concept, Kepler Club has partnered with Malaysian artists to feature original artworks inside selected cabins.
The opening expands Kuala Lumpur Airport’s passenger service offering and forms part of Malaysia Airports’ ongoing focus on the passenger experience.

Founded in Türkiye, Kepler Club takes its name from astronomer Johannes Kepler and currently operates five facilities across three international airports.
These include the brand’s first location at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, where it is the second-largest tenant and the only in-terminal accommodation provider.
Kepler also has a presence at Riga International Airport, where it launched the Baltic region’s first airport capsule hotel in July 2024, with 74 private sleeping cabins across landside and airside areas.
The company operates two hotels at Kuala Lumpur Airport, where its modular DoubleKep cabin design has also been recognised with a FAB Silver Award for Airport Sustainability in May.
